Slipper Room Residency!

After a few very fun gigs at the Slipper Room last year, we're really excited to be starting a residency this month. Starting on January 14th, we'll be playing there every other Wednesday (along with some weekend shows here and there). See our gig blog for the specific dates and times.

For those of you who haven't been there yet, the Slipper Room is a fantastic burlesque club, where some of the most well-known NYC burlesque performers often do their thing. We're there to provide music while the performers dance, hula-hoop, twirl, shake, grind, contort, bathe, disrobe, etc. (each of these activities has taken place at one or another of the shows we've played). There is also a rather, let's say, unusual host for whom we provide assorted off-the-cuff musical cues (e.g. rimshots for jokes that go well, sad trombones and tuba foghorns for those that, um, don't). We also play a few mini-sets of our own between the acts. We certainly have a great time playing there, and we think you'd enjoy yourself as well.

Big up to the Slipper Room for offering us this opportunity. We're really looking forward to it!
